Hurricane Ida hit New Orleans knocking out power for a week. This was August 2021 in Louisiana, so 100 degrees everyday with no air conditioning. We had to leave! But where do you go? How do you find a hotel in the Gulf South when nearly everyone in the hurricane’s path was also looking for shelter? No hotel rooms to be found anywhere, at least I couldn’t find a room using websites, apps, and toll free numbers. Then I remembered I had recently met someone from “Prince of Travel Agency.” Desperate, I called after hours. By some miracle they answered the phone and worked their magic. Somehow they found rooms. 3 nights in Destin, 2 nights in Biloxi, 2 nights in Pascagoula. Every time we needed to move, the Prince of Travel found us somewhere else to go. I have no idea what we would have done if we didn’t have the Prince of Travel Agency to help!
